![]() ![]() ![]() Sony won with more console sales, congrats. They still think they're in some kind of pitched battle with Microsoft when, in reality, Microsoft barely even recognizes Sony as a competitor anymore. Sony has brought about its own destruction. In the end, it is essential to own at least a PS5 and PC if you want the best of this new generation, that MS is not gatekeeping it to Xbox consoles, is a positive in itself. I think Steamdock has come to give PC gaming a lot more relevancy to me again, since there is quite a lot of less performance demanding games there, that I could take on the go, whereas I cant do that with my PS5. Moreover for said game on both platforms, having the power to choose where you want to play is very welcoming.įor example, Nier Automata and Replicant I choose to play on PC, because not even on PS5, it was given an option to have 4K visuals, it is stuck to shitty 1080p, which is very noticeable on my 4K screen, whereas 2K-4K while using desktop just gave me a better experience, besides the mods that enhanced my recent Automata play by a lot.īut if I can get it on 60fps, I will mostly get it on console, and there are some PC ports that are pretty shitty. That said, I own a PS5, exclusives aside because console gaming still has more ease of use vs PC's. I skipped on PS4 era, despite owning up to 3 PS3 over the years, to fully embrace PC gaming, what you are saying is nothing new. It will be interesting to see how Obsidian's upcoming title evolves over the next few months or years of development, and players should expect more details about the game's mechanics and story sometime soon./r/BethesdaSoftworks is a fan-made community hub dedicated to all games, mods, and projects related to the game publisher Bethesda Softworks and its subsidiary studios. Sony recently unveiled plenty of fantastic titles for their next-gen console, so PlayStation owners will still have much to enjoy, even if Avowed isn't available to them. While this news is unfortunate for PlayStation fans, there are a lot of exciting games coming up for the PS5. Sony had an amazing array of exclusives last year, including Marvel's Spider-Man and the recent Ghost of Tsushima, so it seems Microsoft is stepping up its game with its continued acquisition of renowned developers. Nevertheless, Avowed will be Obsidian Entertainment's first Microsoft exclusive title. Given that the title was just announced and it's unclear how far into development the game is, its possible Avowed may release sometime closer to 2022. At this time, there is no release date for Avowed. ![]()
